Group Health Insurance
Most individual policies are part of a group of other individual policies. However, employer sponsored group plans usually are in full or partly funded by an employer, and all full time payroll employees are eligible. It varies by carrier but generally 50% of full time payroll employees must participate on a true group policy. We can set up a list bill account for individual polices to be payroll deducted or set up a true group plan in which you may have pre-existing conditions covered. If you have had prior coverage over the last year without a 62 day break in coverage then your group policy would have no waiting period on pre-existing. Otherwise, there is a 12 month wait on pre-x. Individual policies may have exclusions on pre-existing conditions.
